Job Description:

The AML Compliance Analyst is a trainee professional role requiring good knowledge of processes and a basic understanding of concepts. The role involves implementing AML processes, monitoring transactions, risk assessment, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Candidates should have prior AML experience, familiarity with MS Office, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Job Responsibility:

Develops, recommends and implements processes and controls to facilitate firms and/or business unit compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) rules and regulations
monitors and analyzes transactions to validate appropriateness of activities
confirms employees have received appropriate testing and have qualifications related to AML regulation
additional duties as assigned
appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Requirements:

Experience in AML
knowledge of AML regulations preferred
proficiency with MS office
verbal/written skills
analytical skills
prior experience in the financial field preferably within AML
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
