Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Artwork and Labelling Information Management (ALIM) Proofreader to verify secondary packaging component artwork against Editor's Copies (ECs) across multiple markets and languages. You will ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with the client's specifications and trade dress requirements, collaborating closely with global labelling, regulatory and artwork teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Verify packaging and labelling artwork against ECs, ensuring compliance with local/regional format and style guidelines
  • Evaluate updates, interpret requirements, and confirm changes are applied consistently across products and lines
  • Annotate artwork using digital tools
  • use sound judgment to approve or reject artwork and request accurate re‑creation when needed
  • Liaise with ALIM Market Coordinators, Worldwide Safety & Regulatory, Global Labelling Management, and Global Supply centres/plants to resolve inconsistencies and drive cross-document consistency
  • Manage your proofing workload to meet client's artwork request timelines
  • escalate issues proactively when required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years' experience in pharmaceutical labelling/packaging or medical/scientific proofreading (or 4+ years' pharmaceutical proofreading in lieu of a degree)
  • Exceptional editing/proofreading skills with strong medical/scientific terminology and robust text comprehension across typography, spelling, style, punctuation, and grammar
  • High attention to detail with the ability to sustain focus for extended periods

  • Proficiency with mechanised/electronic proofreading tools (e.g., vision systems, comparators)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
