As an Albert Heijn driver, you ensure groceries are delivered with a smile to the customer's home. Your workday starts at the base, where you pick up your route and a fully loaded delivery van. Here your adventure begins. Each customer is associated with a unique number, which is also found on the crates in the van. Using the Zebra hand scanner, you know exactly where each crate is located. For your first address, you scan all the crates marked with the number "1." You place them on the hand truck, ready for delivery. At the customer's door, you ring the bell and bring the groceries to the door. Next you’ll check if the order has been paid for. If not, it's no problem; this can easily be done with your mobile card machine. With a friendly "See you!" you leave for the next customer.
