Airspace Integration Engineer III - Human Machine Interface

SkyGrid, a Boeing Company, exists to open the sky for autonomous flight. Based in Austin, Texas, SkyGrid builds ground based high-assurance third-party services to enable the safe operations and airspace integration of highly automated and autonomous aircraft. SkyGrid also acts as a key operational nexus for advanced air mobility, integrating and managing data, infrastructure, access, and traffic to support seamless and efficient air traffic services. The SkyGrid team is seeking a talented Airspace Integration Engineer with a background in developing aviation human-machine systems interfaces to support SkyGrid’s mission to enable the airspace integration of emerging aircraft operations worldwide. This role will play a critical part in developing human-systems interfaces for ground-based automation systems that will be used by aircraft operators and air traffic controllers to support high-density, low-altitude operations in airspaces worldwide. This is a hybrid position based in Austin, TX and will report to the Airspace Integration Manager within SkyGrid’s Research and Development (R&D) organization.
