Job Description:

Lead the design and evolution of a comprehensive digital ecosystem comprising interconnected technologies, platforms (including manned and unmanned aircraft), and services. This ecosystem facilitates seamless collaboration and data exchange among customers, industry partners, and other stakeholders, enhancing mission readiness, operational effectiveness, and driving innovation. Architect solutions to implement the program’s data management strategy, enabling advanced data analytics, AI/ML capabilities, and streamlined collaboration. Responsibilities include integrating high-performance computing resources, networking infrastructure, and Service Desk operations. Translate customer requirements into optimal, balanced solutions that consider technical feasibility, schedule, and cost constraints.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and support the development and execution of the Digital Ecosystem
  • Collaborate across engineering disciplines to architect, design and implement complex systems
  • Lead architecture design and execution for application and data integration using model-based systems engineering methodologies
  • Assist in identifying technology roadmaps, as-is and to-be assessments, and gap analysis to mature the ecosystem to support program execution and mission effectiveness
  • Lead automation and configuration management of cross-functional workflows and processes
  • Oversee the design, implementation and operations of scalable data infrastructure, to include data curation, storage, management, integration, and analysis
  • Support network architecture and design to include supplier integration, extranet design, and implementation
  • Travel may be required up to 10% of the time
  • Domestically and/or internationally depending on business needs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • Level 5: 14+ years of working experience with a Bachelor’s OR 12+ years with a Masters OR 9+ years with a PhD
  • Level 6: 20+ years of working experience with a Bachelor’s OR 18+ years with a Masters OR 14+ years with a PhD
  • Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship Required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with the Systems Engineering “V” and all phases of its lifecycle
  • Knowledge of or experience with Siemens Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and systems integration between Teamcenter and Enterprise Resource Planning and Manufacturing Execution Systems
  • Demonstrated strong foundational expertise in Information Technologies with subject matter expertise in at least two of the following areas: Data Center designs and solutions, Server/storage/networking / client virtualization solutions, Application development and lifecycle management, Software as a service, Cloud technologies, Information and Cyber Security, Data science, analytics, AI/ML
  • Experience with Cameo Enterprise Architecture / MSOSA
  • Experience in hardware / software integration
  • Experience with collaboration, agile planning, and DevSecOps tools (Jira, Confluence, Gitlab)
