Job Description:

Bring your leadership and creativity to Kama‘āina Kids, Hawai‘i’s largest locally owned and operated non-profit serving children and families. As a Site Coordinator, you’ll guide staff, support families, and create a fun, safe, and inspiring after-school environment where kids can learn, play, and grow.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the program
  • Provide leadership and support to staff
  • Create a positive, engaging environment for children
  • Help children unwind after school with snacks and fun activities
  • Assist with homework and lead exciting STEM adventures
  • Inspire creativity with cooking and craft activities
  • Supervise outdoor games and sports
  • Build relationships with families and ensure program quality

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children (formal or informal, such as coaching or volunteer work)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A passion for creating a fun, supportive environment for kids
  • Experience in a supervisory role within a child care or education environment is appreciated
