Job Description:

Roycemore School seeks a passionate and organized After-School Program Coordinator to lead our daily after-school activities for our Middle School Division. In this role, you'll be responsible for supervising a small team of high school student employees and coordinating with our external partner, Nexplore, to ensure a safe, fun, and educational experience for all participants.

Job Responsibility:

  • Program Management: Oversee all daily operations of the after-school program, including student sign-ins, managing the schedule, and ensuring a smooth transition between activities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to a small team of high school student employees
  • Partnership Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for Nexplore, coordinating their weekly activity sessions and ensuring their programs align with our overall goals
  • Student Engagement: Maintain a positive and supportive environment for students, addressing any behavioral issues as they arise and fostering a sense of community
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle light administrative duties, such as attendance tracking and communicating with parents or guardians as needed

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children and/or high school students in an educational or recreational setting
