We are looking for an AEO Team Lead with a strong SEO foundation and hands-on experience in Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and LLM-driven search environments. This is a hands-on leadership role, focused on building, executing, and optimizing AEO strategies in a fast-paced, agency-style environment. The role is hybrid and requires a native English speaker with exceptional communication skills.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and execute AEO and GEO strategies to optimize content visibility across AI-driven and answer-based platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity)
  • Own end-to-end AEO and GEO execution, from research and experimentation to implementation, measurement, and optimization
  • Design and evolve AEO/GEO frameworks that adapt content for LLM evaluation, AI-generated responses, and conversational search experiences
  • Conduct advanced intent modeling, entity research, and GEO analysis to support performance in generative and traditional search environments
  • Evaluate performance using GSC, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and emerging AI-search measurement approaches
  • Translate complex datasets into clear insights, narratives, and actionable recommendations, including reporting and visualization
  • Partner closely with content, strategy, and performance teams within a digital marketing agency environment
  • Manage multiple AEO-focused initiatives while maintaining strategic depth and execution quality
  • Stay ahead of evolving AI search behavior, LLM ranking logic, and generative retrieval patterns, proactively applying insights to live accounts

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in SEO
  • At least 1 year of hands-on AEO, GEO analysis, or LLM-focused optimization
  • Demonstrated ability to apply SEO knowledge as a foundation for AEO and GEO strategy
  • Experience integrating SEO/GEO work with disciplines such as Digital PR, Podcasts, Website Production, creative development, and media
  • Proven experience in a digital marketing agency or similarly fast-paced environment
  • Native English speaker with excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong comfort with data analysis, synthesis, and visualization
  • Practical experience working with or optimizing for AI-based search platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity)
  • Ability to operate independently while leading AEO initiatives in a dynamic, hybrid work model
