Advanced Practice Provider for outpatient care, consultation and treatment of pediatric patients with chronic and acute dermatological disorders. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) delivers comprehensive, patient-centered care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. This role prioritizes direct patient care while actively contributing to divisional quality improvement initiatives and the enhancement of clinical outcomes. Additionally, the APP supports orientation efforts and provides education to patients, families, and team members to promote understanding and engagement in care.
Job Responsibility:
Outpatient care, consultation and treatment of pediatric patients with chronic and acute dermatological disorders
Delivers comprehensive, patient-centered care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Prioritizes direct patient care while actively contributing to divisional quality improvement initiatives and the enhancement of clinical outcomes
Supports orientation efforts and provides education to patients, families, and team members to promote understanding and engagement in care
Requirements:
Enhanced knowledge of pediatric patient care principles
Ability to manage specialty patient care and emergencies by prioritizing patient care acuity and tasks
Ability to collaborate with entire care team critically, comprehensively both verbally and in writing
Ability to adapt to a fast paced, high volume clinic
Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
PA - Physician Assistant State License or NP - Nurse Practitioner License
DEA - Drug Enforcement Administration
American Health Association BLS - Basic Life Support & PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
