A university degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 18 years’ experience in construction of large Oil & Gas/petrochemical projects / EPC projects
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail, management skills
Team-oriented skills, self-motivation, and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution

Job Responsibility

Implementation of the Construction AWP (Advanced Work Packaging) methodology and preparation of related deliverables for assigned project/s
Supporting the Site team and other Company’s Functions involved in project execution
Coordinating the AWP project team
Responsible for implementing the AWP Procedure in all phases of the assigned Project
Responsible for preparing, implementing and improving the AWP Project Plan
Participates in interactive planning sessions
Facilitates optimal development of the Path of Construction
Monitors AWP implementation
Provides mentorship on AWP practices
When at Site: Support implementation of AWP Methodology

Proficient in ABAQUS (2D shell and 3D volumic)
Experience with Beam software SACS and hand calculations
Strong understanding of structural engineering principles in the Oil & Gas sector
Degree in Structural Engineering or related field
Proven experience as a Structural Engineer, ideally with offshore subsea projects

Job Responsibility

Conduct independent structural engineering assessments for subsea structures including FLET, Manifold, Suction pile, and large mudmat
Utilize FEA software ABAQUS (2D shell and 3D volumic) and Beam software SACS for design and calculations
Demonstrate autonomy in design practices and calculations
Propose innovative solutions to project leads based on engineering assessments
Review drawings and collaborate with draftsmen to ensure accuracy in advanced phases of projects
