As an electrical engineer, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the development of a new class of high speed FSO communication systems.

Requirements:

  • Proven mixed-signal circuit design and analysis skills
  • Recent Experience with Electrical Engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools
  • Xpedition, HyperLynx tools, and LTspice preferred
  • High speed and mixed-signal RF design experience (A/D, D/A, Op-Amps)
  • Data rates 10 Gbps and above preferred
  • Proven experience designing PCBs with tight Signal Integrity requirements
  • Knowledge of electrical assembly and test, communications-related tools (BERT, sampling oscilloscope, OSA)
  • Experience designing SMPS, power entry modules, and transient suppression preferred
  • Familiarity with software development. C++, Matlab, VHDL, Python preferred
  • Experience with R&D rapid turnaround including concept, design, modeling, prototyping, vendor interface, and test
  • Experience presenting technical information to a variety of audiences
  • Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design
  • Collaborative team player committed to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field
  • Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience
