Job Description:

6-month Fixed Term Part Time role located in Chelsea. Your shifts will be 66/51.5 fortnightly splits. At Scope, we celebrate people. We’re seeking people who can create meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive. Home@Scope provides supported independent living, short-term accommodation and assistance services.

Job Responsibility:

  • You will assist in supporting our customers with their daily activities and goals through a person-centred approach
  • Work with a team on and off-site of specialists with one common purpose – is to create meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive

Requirements:

  • Have experience within disability sector, including experience dealing with behaviours of concern
  • Be an effective communicator with proven experience in managing a diverse team in the community sector
  • Enjoy change and work well in leading a team through an ever-changing environment
  • A full VIC Drivers licence is required for this role
  • An Advanced Diploma of Disability (or equivalence) is required for this role
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children's Check (Employee)
  • Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Valid Australian Working Rights and an International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years
