In this dynamic and student-centered role, you will guide undergraduate and graduate international applicants through every step of the admissions process—from initial inquiry to enrollment. You will develop and execute creative outreach strategies, collaborate closely with faculty and staff to highlight K-State’s top-tier graduate programs, and use data and emerging trends to continually refine recruitment efforts. As a key representative of the university, you will engage with prospective students at international and domestic fairs, high school and university visits, and virtual events. This position is ideal for someone who is personable, highly organized, tech-savvy, and experienced in recruitment, admissions, or related fields.
Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
Requires a bachelor's degree
Valid driver's license and passport
Fluent in English
Three years of experience with international admissions, recruitment or related fields
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organization skills
Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
Strong social and communication skills
Ability to engage with others of different backgrounds
Comfort in planning and conducting extensive travel independently both in international and domestic markets
Knowledge of basic concepts of higher education structure in the United States

Demonstrated proficiency with technology and multiple computer programs (i.e. Microsoft Office including knowledge of Excel, customer relationship manager software)
Efficient use of e-mail
Experience with learning management systems, electronic calendaring systems, and web-based customer relations management or recruitment programs
Well-developed computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office programs such as Access, Excel and Word
Experience appropriately handling confidential information
Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
Familiarity with educational student services
