We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth office operations while providing excellent support to both internal teams and external visitors. Job Responsibility:
Manage daily data entry tasks and maintain accuracy in Excel spreadsheets
Communicate with subcontractors to collect and verify contract-related details
Provide support for conference room setups and other general office needs
Update and maintain project information within ProCore
Serve as the first point of contact at the front desk by welcoming guests and directing them appropriately
Handle administrative duties including answering inbound calls and assisting with customer-facing tasks
Ensure a detail-oriented and positive approach while addressing office tasks and deadlines
Organize and prioritize multiple responsibilities to maintain efficiency in a dynamic office setting
Requirements:
Proficiency in basic computer skills with a strong emphasis on Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused approach
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy work environment
Prior experience in administrative roles or receptionist duties
Comfortable working with data entry and maintaining attention to detail
Reliable and punctual, demonstrating strong work ethic
Capable of maintaining a detail-oriented approach in all interactions
Nice to have:
Familiarity with office management software, such as ProCore, is a plus
