Robert Half is sourcing for a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support an established engineering and subcontracting company in Reno, Nevada. This is a contract-to-permanent opportunity where you’ll play a key role in supporting various departments, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to the organization’s continued growth.
Job Responsibility:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to multiple departments within the company
Maintain and organize records, documents, and files to ensure accuracy and accessibility
Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and managing financial records in QuickBooks
Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and deliver excellent customer service
Coordinate schedules, appointments, and meetings to optimize team productivity
Collaborate with colleagues to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency
Prepare and manage correspondence, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office applications
Support order entry, management, and dispatching tasks as needed
Perform general office duties, including answering calls, managing emails, and handling inbound/outbound communications
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize administrative workflows
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in administrative or support roles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with QuickBooks and basic bookkeeping practices
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on being detail oriented
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in customer service is preferred
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
