We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily operations in a tax office located in Hayward. This is a contract to permanent role. This role requires an understanding of common tax documents (such as W-2s, 1099s, and client tax forms), with the ability to accurately organize, identify, and process sensitive information.
Job Responsibility:
Providing vital clerical and administrative support to tax professionals and clients
Managing schedules and coordinating appointments
Preparing and processing documents
Handling phone and email correspondence
Maintaining confidential files
Assisting with client intake and billing
Requirements:
Proven experience in administrative support, preferably within an office environment
Strong proficiency in handling inbound calls and managing client communications
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to perform data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy
Experience in receptionist duties, including greeting clients and maintaining office decorum
Familiarity with compiling documents for federal tax returns is highly desirable
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
