Job Description:

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Provides administrative support to the Building Department and Conservation Commission, including managing permits, inspection schedules, records, and fees. Assists residents with applications and regulatory inquiries. Prepares notices, agendas, and meeting materials; attends bi-weekly Conservation Commission meetings and takes minutes. Coordinates site walks and communication with DPW, contractors, and state agencies. Performs general office duties and provides backup support to Planning and ZBA.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in business, administrative, paralegal or related field preferred
  • Two years of relevant administrative experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Experience with Conservation Commission processes, wetlands regulations, or municipal permitting strongly preferred
  • Must have strong communication, customer service, organizational, and computer skills
  • Ability to understand and apply local and state regulations
