Job Description:

Xometry's Summer Internship Program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop essential skills in the manufacturing industry. You'll be at the forefront of driving customer satisfaction through providing manufacturing solutions. You can expect to work in an environment that encourages entrepreneurial spirit, hands-on experience across functional areas.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support additive manufacturing operations: Assist with preparing builds, operating industrial 3D printers, and performing post-processing tasks to ensure parts meet quality and safety standards
  • Quality control & documentation: Inspect printed parts, record process data, and help maintain documentation to support consistent production and continuous improvement
  • Equipment & workflow support: Help with material handling, basic printer maintenance, and day-to-day lab organization to keep additive workflows running efficiently

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, graduating in December 2026 or May 2027
  • Minimum 3.5 GPA
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the internship period (June 8 - August 14, 2026)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A passion for problem-solving and a desire to drive results
  • Ability to provide proof of legal right to work in the United States
  • Ability to commute to our Lexington, KY or North Bethesda, MD office to work onsite for at least 3 days a week
