Job Description:

The role involves ensuring team coordination to deliver exceptional service, overseeing staff grooming, maintaining dining area safety, supporting management in personnel tasks, and exemplifying the Gold Standards of The Ritz-Carlton. The position entails physical activities such as walking, lifting, and operating in confined spaces while adhering to company policies and safety standards.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure staff is working together as a team to ensure optimum service and guest needs are met
inspect grooming and attire of staff, and rectify any deficiencies
complete opening and closing duties, including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, and locking doors
inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness
complete scheduled inventories and requisition supplies
monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests
assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees
welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
anticipate and address guests’ service needs
develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
ensure adherence to quality expectations
identify, recommend, develop, and implement ways to increase efficiency and cost-savings.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 2 years of related work experience
at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
