Job Description:

The Autonomous Driving Feature Development Engineer will work in a team environment to develop next-generation products for automotive ADAS. This will include design, development, and testing of algorithms related to one of Automatic Parking, Perception, Behaviour and trajectory planning, assessment & vehicle control algorithms.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop, code, test and maintain state of the art ADAS algorithms
  • Develop technical specifications and DFMEAs
  • Develop and execute functional test plans
  • Conduct detailed performance analysis
  • Work with colleagues and customers to develop and implement enhancements to address realworld performance issues
  • Complete assigned individual and team tasks
  • Support advanced development process activities (analysis, design, reviews, verification testing)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Aerospace, Computer Science, Robotics or related technical field / Master’s degree in Engineering - Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Aerospace, Computer Science, Robotics or related technical field
  • 3+ years of programming experience in: C++
  • 3+ years of development and testing of algorithms and code experience (can include industry, academic or internship)
  • Strong in control theory & systems design
  • Excellent data extraction & analysis skills (MATLAB, Excel)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • 3+ years of development and testing of ADAS algorithms in C/C++
  • Superior communication & presentation skills
  • Background in automotive radar, vision, lidar, sensor fusion
  • Background in optimization, path planning and advanced filtering methods
  • Background in object detection and tracking algorithm design
  • ISO 26262 / Functional Safety functional expertise
