Job Description:

We’re looking for an AdOps Director who’s both a leader and a doer, someone who can set the vision while staying close to the work. You’ll lead a team of ad strategists and media buyers, building systems for performance, mentoring talent, and ensuring every campaign meets the highest standard. This role is ideal for a player-coach: someone who knows how to balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution. You’ll help shape RedTag’s paid media approach, guide innovation in how we plan and optimize campaigns, and roll up your sleeves when needed to troubleshoot, train, or jump into the details.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and oversee integrated paid media strategies across search, social, programmatic, video, Amazon, display, and traditional channels
  • Identify emerging trends and tools to keep RedTag’s media approach sharp, efficient, and future-ready
  • Translate data into insights and action plans that drive measurable business outcomes
  • Define KPIs, performance goals, and optimization frameworks for all paid media initiatives
  • Lead, mentor, and empower a team of media buyers and ad strategists, driving excellence through collaboration, accountability, and learning
  • Get in the weeds when needed: review campaign builds, troubleshoot delivery issues, and provide hands-on coaching
  • Foster a culture of curiosity and growth where experimentation is encouraged, and learning is constant
  • Build clear training pathways to strengthen team expertise in performance strategy and execution
  • Partner with clients to understand business goals and translate them into clear, data-backed media strategies
  • Present performance insights, strategic recommendations, and optimization plans to executive stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Creative, BrandOps, and Account teams to align media strategies with creative vision and client objectives
  • Oversee campaign budgets, pacing, and forecasting with precision
  • Ensure seamless execution, optimization, and reporting across all platforms
  • Maintain relationships with media vendors, technology partners, and analytics providers
  • Continuously refine processes to improve efficiency and campaign performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in digital advertising or paid media
  • At least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven success managing multimillion-dollar campaigns and guiding high-performing teams
  • Mastery of Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, DSPs, and programmatic platforms
  • Experience blending digital and traditional media into cohesive strategies
  • Strong command of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Looker Studio, Agency Analytics, etc.)
  • Familiarity with audience segmentation, conversion optimization, and performance tracking
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
