Currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead and optimize the accounts payable operations within our organization. Based in Beverly Hills, California, this role involves ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing invoices, payments, and expense reports, while maintaining adherence to established policies and controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable management and a proven ability to supervise and mentor a team.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and oversee daily accounts payable operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports
Supervise, train, and support accounts payable staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
Implement and enforce internal controls, policies, and procedures to maintain compliance and safeguard financial integrity
Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective cash management
Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Review and approve invoice coding, check runs, and ACH payments to ensure proper execution of payment processes
Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Bill.com, and Divvy to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Monitor and analyze accounts payable metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
Address vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues promptly to maintain positive relationships
Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements to enhance accounts payable operations
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience demonstrating attention to detail
Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
Comprehensive understanding of accounts payable processes, reconciliations, and internal controls
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Excellent leadership and communication skills to guide and support team members
Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite, Bill.com, and Divvy
Familiarity with coding invoices, check runs, and ACH payment processes
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
