The aim of these internships is to foster students’ professional development and understanding of the world of Hospitality. We provide each intern with valuable experiences in the field of hospitality, including networking opportunities, and hands-on experience which will prepare the intern to successfully enter the workforce in the future. We will have two internship opportunities within our Accounts Department - one in the Accounts Receivables section and the other opportunity in the Income Auditor function of the hotel.
Job Responsibility:
Support with daily administrative tasks and with specific duties related to the respective function
The intern will have a good exposure to hotel operations
The intern will also learn how to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced global environment
Requirements:
Currently following a Diploma/Degree in a Hospitality Management School or equivalent
Positive attitude and passion for the hospitality industry
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Fluency in spoken English
Good team player
Ideally, interns need to be available for a minimum of four to five months, during the months of May and October
What we offer:
Receive the required on the job and classroom training
Extra hours worked over and above the standard 40 hour week will be paid extra at a higher rate
Can opt to stay in a shared room in the students’ accommodation which is located on hotel grounds
Those staying in the students’ accommodation will have access to a common kitchen, living and laundry areas
