Job Description:

The Accounts Assistant role at The Westin Kuala Lumpur involves managing financial data, maintaining accurate records, and preparing financial reports. Job Responsibility:

Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy
organize, secure, and maintain all files and records
record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information
prepare, maintain, and distribute financial, accounting, and payroll reports
complete period-end closing procedures
prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements
maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
protect company assets
develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
ability to organize, secure, and maintain files, records, cash, and electronic spreadsheets
ability to record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information
proficiency in preparing, maintaining, and distributing financial, accounting, and payroll reports
ability to complete period-end closing procedures and reconcile bills, invoices, and account statements
ability to speak with others using clear and professional language
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
