Job Description:

Randstad is recruiting an experienced accounting technician for its client to support financial operations in their team. Join a dynamic team in downtown Montreal with competitive benefits and salary and a stimulating environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Contribute to the processing of accounts payable and support operational teams in creating purchase orders
  • Participate in accounts receivable management by supporting operational teams in tracking payments and preparing quotes
  • Review accounts payable and accounts receivable reports (such as aging balances and account statements) and explain any discrepancies
  • Collaborate on accounting reconciliation activities (approvals, debits, expense reports)
  • Be involved in the payment process for suppliers, both locally and internationally, by validating amounts with operational teams
  • Record accounting entries as work progresses
  • Answer general questions from users of the accounting system within the Group

Requirements:

  • College or university degree in accounting
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Proficiency in Office 365 tools, particularly Excel at an intermediate level
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English

Nice to have:

Very good knowledge of accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Concur are assets)
