Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead and oversee accounting operations for our team in North Charleston, South Carolina. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy of financial records, supervise accounting staff, and contribute to financial planning and analysis. This position is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about maintaining strong financial controls.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct training and onboarding for accounting staff
assign tasks and set performance expectations
evaluate and motivate staff performance
manage departmental workflow
enforce organizational policies and procedures
perform budgeting for specified grants
manage grant reporting functions
maintain vendor agreements and file annual 1099 forms
post lease payments
process and verify invoices
reconcile credit card accounts monthly.

Requirements:

Detail-oriented and experienced
experience in accounting operations
ability to lead and supervise accounting staff
strong financial planning and analysis skills
proficiency in QuickBooks
familiarity with grant budgeting and reporting
knowledge of accounting software systems such as ADP, Concur, and ERP
competency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
knowledge of auditing and billing functions.
