Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the organization’s financial operations. This position provides a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about accounting and looking to contribute their expertise to a forward-thinking company.

Job Responsibility:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing analysis to support decision-making processes
Coordinate and assist with audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete
Maintain and update accounting records and files, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data
Analyze financial information and summarize the financial status of the organization
Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Continuously improve accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience as an accounting specialist or in a similar role
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management
High level of integrity and professionalism
