Job Description:

An Accounting Officer position at The Ritz-Carlton Bangkok involving financial recordkeeping, reporting, and customer service responsibilities within a luxury hospitality environment. The role requires a high school diploma, attention to detail, communication skills, and at least one year of related experience.

Job Responsibility:

Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy and proper codes
organize and maintain financial files, records, and cash
record and analyze computerized financial information
classify, code, and summarize numerical data
prepare financial and accounting reports
complete period-end closing procedures
handle bills, invoices, and account statements
follow company policies and procedures
maintain a professional appearance
address guests' needs in a timely manner
support team to achieve goals
perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
no supervisory experience
attention to detail in checking figures, postings, and documents
ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
proficiency with spreadsheets and financial tools
ability to classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data
capability to prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports
strong communication skills to speak with others professionally
adherence to company policies and procedures.

Nice to have:

Experience in hospitality or luxury service industry
knowledge of company procedures
familiarity with period-end closing procedures
ability to prepare and review bills, invoices, and account statements.
