Job Description:

Supports general ledger processes, account reconciliation, financial reporting, and discrepancy resolution. Ensures compliance with accounting standards, leads teams, and mentors employees while upholding The Ritz-Carlton brand values and delivering exceptional service.

Job Responsibility:

Coordinate and implement accounting work and projects
audit and follow up on accounting SOPs
comply with fraud and collection laws
generate accurate and timely financial reports
monitor taxes and ensure compliance
provide guidance on accounting and budgeting policies
maintain strong operational control environment
analyze information to solve problems
balance credit card ledgers
coach and counsel employees
provide direction on accounting practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major
2-year degree in Finance and Accounting with 2 years of professional experience
proficiency with accounting systems and procedures
strong organizational skills
knowledge of Federal and State laws related to fraud and collection procedures
ability to analyze information and solve problems
proficiency with financial reporting and data tabulation
experience with credit card ledger balancing and compliance.

Nice to have:

Knowledge of return check procedures
proficiency with write-off and deposit procedures
experience leading accounting teams
ability to mentor and train employees
strong interpersonal and communication skills.
