Accounting Manager/Supervisor

• Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Ensure the maintenance of precise customer credit records
• Handle and resolve customer inquiries effectively
• Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions when necessary
• Supervise Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations
• Manage billing functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Oversee the operations of Medicaid and Medicare
• Coordinate with cost centers for effective financial management
• Lead a team of 6, promoting productivity and efficiency
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems for various accounting functions

• At least 2 years of detail-oriented experience in a lead or supervisor role
• Proven knowledge and experience in managing all accounting functions, including but not limited to, general ledger, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Expertise in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficiency in various accounting software systems
• Previous experience with billing functions, including generating, sending, and tracking invoices
• Prior work experience in the non-profit industry is desirable
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation
• Ability to improve and maintain accounting procedures and policies
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
