Job Description:

As an Accounting Clerk (Receiving) at The Tokyo EDITION Toranomon, you will process deliveries, handle inventory reports, and ensure the safekeeping of packages while maintaining a professional environment that promotes safety, inclusivity, and service excellence.

Job Responsibility:

Receive, unload, and process deliveries
verify and track inventory
complete inventory reports and logs
reconcile shipping invoices
maintain accurate tracking of shipping and receiving transactions
communicate with guests regarding packages
maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
address safety concerns and report unsafe conditions
communicate with management regarding any loss or damage with packages.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
ability to work in physically demanding environments, including narrow spaces, uneven surfaces, and stairs
capability to read and visually verify information
fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
professional appearance and communication skills
commitment to safety protocols
ability to follow shipping and receiving procedures and regulations
positive interpersonal skills.

Nice to have:

Proficiency in Japanese
familiarity with inventory tracking systems
knowledge of shipping guidelines and hazardous material regulations.
