Accounting Clerk

• Perform daily reviews of bank transactions and client remittance data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Process and manage client remittance information and provide timely correspondence as needed
• Serve as a backup for accounts payable and daily deposit applications, ensuring smooth workflow continuity
• Cross-train with the Accounting Manager and Payment Processing team to support various accounting functions
• Assist with month-end closing activities and other assigned accounting tasks
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records for reporting and audit purposes
• Utilize accounting software, including Sage 100, to manage financial transactions and data
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency in accounting operations.

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
• A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage 100
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including accounts payable and receivable processes
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
• Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Sage 100 is a plus but not required.
