The Fabrication Accounting Administrator supports the Fabrication Group Accounting team by managing key administrative and transactional processes that ensure timely and accurate financial and operational reporting. This role is responsible for pulling, reviewing, and finalizing weekly payroll hours for fabrication employees; creating and maintaining phase codes for fabrication jobs in the ERP system; and overseeing the synchronization of purchase orders between the fabrication software platform and the ERP. This position also performs a variety of general fabrication-related administrative tasks to support smooth operations across the Fabrication Group.
Job Responsibility:
Pull, review, and finalize weekly fabrication payroll hours with a high degree of accuracy
Create, update, and maintain phase codes for fabrication jobs within the ERP
Monitor and support the synchronization of purchase orders between fabrication software and the ERP, troubleshooting discrepancies as needed
Perform administrative tasks related to fabrication job setup, maintenance, and closeout
Assist with routine reporting, document control, data validation, and other operational support tasks
Provide timely communication and support to internal stakeholders across fabrication shops, accounting, payroll, and project teams
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
associate degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field preferred
1–3 years of experience in an administrative, accounting, or operational support role
Experience working with ERP systems (Spectrum, Viewpoint, SAP, Oracle, etc.) preferred
Familiarity with fabrication, construction, or manufacturing environments is a plus
Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Being a notary is a plus
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively with production, payroll, and accounting teams
Ability to manage deadlines and handle recurring weekly cycles (e.g., payroll timelines)
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including working with tables, lookups, and basic formulas
Comfort working in ERP systems and/or operational software platforms
The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required
Requires some overtime and weekend work
Ability to meet deadlines
Must be able to sit and work directly on a computer for long periods of time
May be required to lift to 25 lbs. frequently
Nice to have:
Associate degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field
Experience working with ERP systems (Spectrum, Viewpoint, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
