Accountant

• Perform daily revenue collections and process daily receipts
• Prepare and process biweekly payroll
• Reconcile bank accounts and payroll-related general ledger accounts
• Ensure accuracy of payroll tax withholding accounts
• Maintain detailed financial records and prepare clear and comprehensive financial reports
• Apply accounting and auditing principles to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with internal departments to support financial reporting and operations

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• Experience in general or governmental accounting preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing theory, and best practices
• Ability to prepare and reconcile trial balances, understand debits and credits, and perform GL reconciliations
• Excellent organizational skills and close attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Business casual dress code
• Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations

Previous experience in general or governmental accounting preferred
