The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, preferably within a multinational or tech company, and will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting the financial health of our EU operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with local regulations and company policies
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and payment of invoices
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including the preparation and filing of tax returns
  • Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information
  • Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts, and financial data
  • Monitor and manage company expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings
  • Coordinate with payroll consultant and outside accounting firms
  • Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and systems
  • Work closely with other departments, including HR and operations, to ensure accurate financial reporting and support business initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational or tech company
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Netsuite) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong understanding of European (in particular Italy) accounting standards and tax regulations
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Italian native speaker
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
