The Vice President, Account Opening Process Team Lead is a strategic professional role within Citi Global Wealth, focusing on managing projects, team leadership, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards. The role involves complex deliverables, cultivating trust among stakeholders, and contributing to the firm's overall performance.

  • appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets
  • manages a team to support design of branch operation procedures and implement controls to effectively manage operational risks in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements
  • full supervisory responsibilities including duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations as well as direction of daily tasks and responsibilities
  • provide training, coaching and support to ensure that operation officers work in an effective manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
  • 6-10 years of project management or retail banking experience – preferably from a financial services environment
  • ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals
  • knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics
  • ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis
  • manage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk
  • manage client expectations, anticipates operational and tactical risks and tracks them
  • proficient in MS Office applications, Adobe Acrobat Professional
  • stays abreast of current industry trends and new technology through professional associations, trade journals, networking, and associated training and seminars.
