The Account Manager is responsible for handling account load featuring hobby channel accounts. They will be responsible for increasing year-over-year spending with these accounts every month to grow their business. The Account Manager will work & strategize with each account to grow the value of their book of business. They will do so by maintaining a comprehensive understanding of each account, conduct joint business planning sessions, identify areas of opportunity within each account, and maximize unit sale and store adoption of Key New Releases.
Job Responsibility:
Increase their book of business revenue by 10% year-over-year
Perform customer service and act as a business consultant to each account
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of each account
Maintain an appropriate ordering percentage each month from their book of business
Have appropriate adoption rates across accounts for key titles, launches, and promotions
Understand sales trends and the current industry status
Leverage data & industry trends to increase sales for your accounts
Maintain a knowledge of the product catalog, new releases, and all promotions
Update and maintain CRM & ERP systems with correct customer data & information
Additional projects as requested by the Communications & OP Leader
Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail
Phone sales experience
Ability to collaborate successfully with other individuals in a high energy, team-oriented environment
Acute problem-solving skills
Resilience in overcoming objection
Adaptability in times of pivoting priorities
Willingness to own, manage, and improve upon specific projects
Time management skills and the ability to balance different projects at once
Strong sales skills and background
One year minimum in sales or customer service
One year of experience in the hobby & game industry
Proven track record of success in maintaining a book of business
