We are seeking an experienced and proactive Account Manager to join our dynamic client, based locally in Bournemouth. This is a client-facing role where you will oversee a portfolio of key customers, acting as the main point of contact for all account-related matters. This role will include travel to attend meetings with clients, and a company car will be provided with expenses covered.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and develop a portfolio of assigned client accounts, ensuring service excellence and satisfaction
Build and nurture strong relationships with key business contacts and stakeholders
Conduct regular account reviews and proactive meetings, either face to face or on Microsoft Teams
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and ensure all compliance deadlines are met
Respond promptly to client queries and ensure projects are delivered efficiently and within agreed timelines
Monitor and report on the performance of contracts, ensuring SLA and KPI targets are consistently met
Clearly communicate progress on monthly and quarterly initiatives to both internal teams and clients
Lead weekly update meetings with the Corporate Account Manager and contribute to wider team strategy
Prepare and present professional reports detailing account activity, insights and opportunities for growth
Identify upselling opportunities and collaborate with relevant teams to maximise account value and client retention
Requirements:
Proven experience in account management or a similar client facing role
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Proactive and organised with the ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively
Competent in using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Teams
Ability to analyse data and prepare clear insightful reports
Experience working towards and achieving KPIs and SLAs
