Account Manager - Join a Global, People-First Business! This role offers a blend of account management and warm sales follow-up - no cold calling - making it ideal for someone who enjoys a relationship-led, customer-centric environment. Working closely with a Business Development Manager, you will pick up warm leads passed onto you from the BDM, as well as overseeing and reaching out to current client accounts directly. You will support growing the current accounts, while the BDM is in the field picking up the new business!
Job Responsibility:
Build strong client relationships through inbound and warm outbound calls
Follow up on leads, identify growth opportunities, and drive account expansion
Recommend suitable products and services tailored to client needs
Manage the sales pipeline through the CRM - from lead to close
Handle quote requests, apply pricing strategies, and produce sales reports
Support Business Development Managers with key accounts
Provide technical product support (Tier 1-2, with training provided)
Maintain CRM data and prepare account action plans
Meet and exceed sales targets in collaboration with the Senior Account Manager
Participate in regular team meetings, training, and reporting
KPI targets exist, but they are a joint team effort working closely with your BDM to achieve targets collectively
Requirements:
Experience in account management, internal sales, or customer relationship roles
A growth mindset and proactive attitude toward account development
Ability to understand and communicate technical product information
Strong communication and relationship-building skills (phone, email, Teams)
Organised, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy (Office 365 + CRM knowledge)
A collaborative, solutions-focused team player
Eagerness for continuous learning and improvement
Confident presenting and reporting on performance and strategy
