Job Description:

Pimsoft is looking for professionals who believe in value-based selling to strengthen the international sales team. Sales Engineer, Account Manager, Territory Business Developer positions are available for our offices in Houston and Italy (Milan, Turin). Reporting to the VP of Sales, interested candidates will be tasked with selling the company's portfolio featuring the flagship product Sigmafine, and third-party technologies including AVEVA PI System and other Solutions to existing and prospective customers in the assigned territory and/or account list. Knowledge/experience in selling software solutions for the process and manufacturing industries in one or more of the following contexts is mandatory: Mass/Energy Balance, Production Accounting and Data Reconciliation (PADR), Energy Efficiency, Historian and Real-Time Data Infrastructure, Asset Performance Management, Alarms Management, Operational Intelligence, Planning/Scheduling systems, Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Integration with ERP systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and execute sales plans for the assigned customers, territories, industries
  • Leverage Pimsoft Partners network to develop and expand Pimsoft product sales in the assigned territories
  • Understand customer needs and blueprint value-added solutions based on company’s technology (Sigmafine)
  • Prepare and execute written and verbal presentations and demos delivering the value Pimsoft products bring to the customer’s business
  • Qualify and develop leads generated by the company business and marketing activities into opportunities
  • Prepare and submit proposals in response to RFI’s and RFQ’s technical and commercial requirements
  • Negotiate price and close deals through the execution of a Software license and Service Agreement
  • Assess and maintain customer success and satisfaction on a long-term basis
  • Report and update company CRM platform with accurate sales forecasts and actuals
  • Maintain and develop personal knowledge of both Pimsoft products and sales procedures and tools according to Pimsoft guidelines
  • Interact with internal delivery, sales support, sales enablement resources to implement required sales strategy
  • Market company’s technology participating to industry events and trade shows as sponsor/exhibitor/speaker

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering/Scientific disciplines: Chemical, Software, Physics, Mathematics or equivalent
  • 3+ years proven experience in directs sales of software solutions to the process industries
  • Excellent level of verbal and written communication skills (English essential, Spanish is an added asset)
  • Communicative / emphatic / personable / personal tact / diplomacy
  • Motivated / curious / self learner
