Job Description:

An Academic Support Assistant role helping students with academic progress in a Secondary School in Wandsworth. The role involves working closely with Teachers, leading 1:1 and small group interventions, and gaining valuable experience for aspiring Teachers.

Job Responsibility:

Working with students across KS3, KS4 & KS5
Providing regular feedback to Teachers following interventions
Actively supporting students within 1:1 and small group support sessions
Leading structured academic interventions in core subjects (Maths, English & Science)

Requirements:

Hold a 1st Class or 2:1 Degree from a reputable University
Strong A Levels & GCSEs
Confident in your knowledge of core subjects (Maths, English & Science)
Have a passion for the curriculum and supporting young people
Previous experience working with young people (Tutoring, Mentoring, etc)
Be able to work collaboratively in a wider team
