Job Description:

An ‘Outstanding’ graded Ofsted secondary school based in the heart of Hammersmith is looking for Academic Mentors to join their vibrant and high-achieving Science department. This is a full-time position starting in September 2025, perfect for graduates who are passionate about science and teaching. The job involves supporting students through interventions, booster sessions, and collaboration with class teachers.

Job Responsibility:

Run small, targeted interventions in groups and 1:1 for students who are struggling academically
Run booster sessions for students inside and outside of the classroom across science related subjects – dependant on your subject speciality
Support class teachers across different subjects and support students development academically

Requirements:

Must have a 1st Class or 2:1 Degree from a reputable University
Aspiring Primary or Secondary Teacher
Must be willing to go above and beyond daily for the pupils
Confidence is key throughout these roles/School
Must be a team player
