Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an A400M Structural Mechanic (d/f/m).

Job Responsibility:

  • Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled assembly, maintenance and repair work and structural repairs on the A400M weapon system
  • Analyzing faults and malfunctions based on reports and rectifying them
  • Fitting modifications in accordance with drawings and specifications
  • Determining repair and replacement scopes
  • Carrying out repairs, adjustment and setting work as well as functional tests independently
  • Carrying out assembly work and modifications according to plans, drawings and instructions
  • Documenting damage reports and carrying out repairs
  • Ensure continuous improvement
  • Carrying out first level quality checks

Requirements:

  • Completed vocational training in a metalworking environment
  • Very extensive, long-term experience on aircraft
  • Ability to work independently
  • MS Office applications and OPAL knowledge
  • Fluent German and good command of English (technical English)
  • Security clearance or eligibility for clearance by the recognized authorities
