Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to oversee inpatient care and manage emergency cases presenting through our A&E service at our new Warrington Hospital. This role offers a stimulating and varied caseload with a strong medical focus, alongside opportunities to perform both emergency procedures and surgical emergency cases. You will play a key role in ensuring excellent continuity of care for our inpatients, while confidently handling same-day emergency presentations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee inpatient care and manage emergency cases presenting through our A&E service
  • Meet the clinical needs of our inpatients
  • Providing high-quality care for emergency cases as they arise throughout the day
  • Ensuring excellent continuity of care for our inpatients
  • Confidently handling same-day emergency presentations

Requirements:

  • Highly skilled and motivated to continue developing your technical capabilities
  • Confident managing complex medical cases, with some surgical experience
  • A genuine team player who enjoys the buzz of a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Compassionate and empathetic when communicating with clients during stressful situations

Nice to have:

Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care (advantageous but not essential)
