Job Description:

The A/C Technician role at Kigali Marriott Hotel involves performing installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting for systems like cabling and equipment while adhering to quality standards and safety protocols. The position emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, professionalism, and includes involvement in special events and projects.

Job Responsibility:

Communicate with Facilities support staff and customers to understand customer requirements
Plan and coordinate equipment installations, moves, additions, changes, and system enhancements
Analyze, recommend, and implement process improvements
Troubleshoot network data issues and resolve non-routine problems
Complete trouble tickets as required
Maintain order of data network closets
Be knowledgeable about CAT 5, Fiber, and power cabling capacities
Support special events, large moves and changes, and project work
Maintain inventory of technology devices
Follow company policies and procedures
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Protect company assets
Welcome and acknowledge guests
Ensure employee compliance with company standards/policies
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
Identify and recommend new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings
Inspect tools, equipment, or machines
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds
Enter and locate information using computer systems
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
3 years of related work experience
Valid Driver’s License
