Job Description:

1:1 SEN Support Assistant – Primary School. Do you have a passion for supporting children with additional needs? We are seeking caring, resilient and skilled LSAs to work 1:1 with pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD, speech & language needs and global delay. If you love meaningful, 1:1 work — this is the role for you. Join the team and help make a difference in the lives of the students.

Job Responsibility:

  • Building a strong, trusting relationship with the child
  • Supporting them with learning, communication and emotional regulation
  • Following EHCP targets
  • Working closely with the SENCO and class teacher
  • Helping the child access learning in a way that works for them

Requirements:

  • SEN experience OR personal experience with neurodiversity
  • A calming, supportive approach
  • Patience and strong behaviour management
  • A genuine desire to make a difference
  • All staff must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services
