Functieomschrijving:

Visual merchandising activity employee at IKEA Duiven focused on product-level merchandising to guide customers through the store and trigger purchases by highlighting product benefits and features. Part of the Communication & Interior Design department responsible for maintaining the IKEA concept.

Functieverantwoordelijkheden:

Ensure customers find their way through the store and are triggered to make purchases
Highlight benefits of versatile products
Create plans for products that sell poorly
Restock products and organize back walls before store opening
Determine optimal placement for new products
Place new products according to IKEA standards
Participate in team meetings about upcoming projects
Work on larger projects and renovations implementing seasonal products throughout the store

Vereisten:

HBO work and thinking level achieved through creative education preferably in home furnishing or work experience
Knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp or AutoCAD
Ability to quickly learn Revit
Speaks and writes Dutch and English
Good planning and organizational skills
Accurate work approach
Practical and commercially oriented
Ability to explain ideas and visual concepts in words to people without creative functions
Problem-solving skills when standards don't align with practice or sales opportunities are missed
