As a Verkoopmedewerker (Sales Associate) at IKEA in Amsterdam, you will assist customers by identifying their needs and matching them to suitable products. You will work 24 hours per week in varying shifts, including weekends, as part of a team that values creativity, independence, and enthusiasm. Functieverantwoordelijkheden:

advising customers on suitable home solutions and surprising them with your expertise
taking responsibility for your own department and assisting colleagues and customers as needed
ensuring a tidy and organized department

Vereisten:

a good command of the Dutch language, and capable of managing in English
experience with computer programs, even if unfamiliar with specific systems
ability to set correct priorities and mostly work independently
eagerness to learn regardless of work experience
good physical condition as the work can be physically demanding
availability for 4 days of work in varying shifts (day, afternoon, evening) and weekends
