Description du poste:

Rejoindre une équipe expérimentée et ambitieuse qui a donné naissance à 'A Plague Tale: Innocence' et 'A Plague Tale: Requiem'. Travailler sur un nouveau projet, un 3rd person narrative adventure, de la conception initiale jusqu'à l'implémentation finale dans le jeu. Au sein du pôle Design, sous la supervision du Game Director, collaborer avec l'ensemble des autres corps de métiers. Coordonner les efforts, garantir une cohérence créative et transmettre la vision du jeu à l'équipe de Level Designers.

Responsabilités:

  • Conception et création de niveaux captivants
  • Conception et équilibrage de fonctionnalités spécifiques de gameplay
  • Interventions dans les tâches fondamentales du Level Design (réglage, intégration des éléments)
  • Tester de nouvelles idées et innover pour repousser les limites du Level Design
  • Prototypage des niveaux et mise à jour régulière des documents de Level Design
  • Gestion des tests des niveaux en étroite collaboration avec l’équipe QA
  • Participation aux recrutements pour l'équipe
  • Organisation, rationalisation et optimisation du travail collectif
  • Création d'une ambiance positive et stimulante
  • Partage des bonnes pratiques et formation des Level Designers moins expérimenté(e)s

Exigences:

  • 7 ans d’expérience minimum en Level Design sur plusieurs jeux vidéo AA/AAA publiés
  • Maîtrise des différentes phases de conception de niveaux (block out, prototypes, passes successives)
  • Aptitudes pour le management ou forte appétence pour se développer sur le sujet
  • Expérience en outils de scripting et moteurs de jeu
  • Solide culture vidéoludique, notamment dans le genre aventure-narratif
  • Excellentes compétences en communication et en résolution de problèmes
  • Aptitude à travailler efficacement au sein d'équipes pluridisciplinaires
  • Souci du détail tout en maintenant l'efficacité dans le processus de production et le respect des plannings
  • Niveau opérationnel en français (écrit et oral)

  • Ensure overall technical integration and consistency of the domain or project deliverables
  • On critical domain deliverables, coordinate with leaders to ensure activities are executed as per Programme objectives (including coordination of Reviews when necessary or requested)
  • Secure key interdependencies with other organizations
  • Assess & Report on delivery performance
  • Ensure Risks & Opportunities are managed with mitigations in place
  • End to end finance life cycle on its scope applicable to the domain or project, including: bottom-up, budget negotiation with Programme & budget allocation, and actuals monitoring
  • Ensure consistency of Statement of Work and finance allocated target
  • Represent the Aircraft Control domain or project in relevant Programme (TRM, PRM) forums in front of Chief Engineer organization and Programme Leader
  • Provide regular reporting at Domain level, Programme Leader (regular meetings) and Programme level (Business Review)
