Significant experience in software engineering with scalable distributed systems (around 8 years preferred, but we value skills over strict timelines)
Strong SRE background with deep understanding of SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and observability
Platform engineering/DevOps expertise and passion for monitoring distributed systems
Experience with incident management, post-incident analysis, and organizational change
Experience leveraging AI tools to drive problem-solving and productivity, maintaining effective human oversight and judgement.
Data-driven mindset that uses metrics to evaluate engineering decisions
Technical leadership experience including mentoring, pair programming, and solution design
Ability to balance strategic vision with tactical implementation
Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts across various stakeholders
Growth mindset with strong cross-functional collaboration abilities

Verantwortlichkeiten

Research, engineer and experiment with new ways to improve our observability platform and tooling
Design and implement a comprehensive reliability strategy that aligns with business outcomes
Lead the definition of reliability targets (SLOs) that enable teams to make data-driven decisions
Guide the technical roadmap for reliability and observability across Scout24
Advocate for reliability and resiliency as essential components of our product development cycle
Report key reliability KPIs and metrics to leadership, providing actionable insights on system health and reliability trends
Own and continuously improve our incident handling processes and automation
Foster a blameless culture of learning from incidents across the company
Lead the definition and implementation of our disaster recovery framework in the cloud
Partner with Platform teams to build observability and reliability tooling
